Ken Smith has decided to pull his application to develop multi-use athletic fields with Riverside County in regards to the property known as Galway Downs.  Unfortunately defending the lawsuit filed against the County of Riverside is both too expensive and time consuming for Ken and his family at this time.  We do appreciate all of Ken and Tina Smith's dedication to Arsenal and effort in their attempt to develop one of the largest and greatest soccer facilities in southern California, if not the United States.  Unfortunately due to a small group of individuals against the impact on the area that this project would have, the club and Ken and Tina Smith are now looking in to other alternatives.

Located in southern California’s beautiful wine country, Galway Downs Soccer Complex is home to Arsenal Futbol Club.  The 90 acre facility will be host to all Arsenal FC tournaments, US Soccer Development Academy and Elite Clubs National League matches, College Showcases, Far West Regional League, Cal South State and National Cup fixtures.
