First in a series, we take a look at some of the local young gunners in the AFC Teams
1. What was it like when you first put a foot on a field at Arsenal?
It was AWESOME!
2. With a few games under your belt, how do you feel about yourself now and have you improved?
Yes, I have improved and I feel good about my season.
3. What has been your highlight so far at Arsenal?
So far we are undefeated, and that feels good, and I like to score goals.
4. What players have you enjoyed training with and If you could step into someone’s boots for a day who would it be?
I like my team and Coach Geoff, but I also like training with the older players and Coach Pete. It would be cool to be Fabregas or Van Persie for a day.
5. What is it like to work with the older players and are you more experienced because of this?
It helps me to be a better player, and more confident on the field. Playing with the older players makes me work harder, and run faster.
6. Your Best performance?
When I scored two goals in one game. The final game score was 2-0! I am one of the top goal scores on my team and have the most assists.
7. What are your long term goals as a soccer player?
I want to keep playing and get better.
8. What’s been your most difficult challenges in club soccer?
I can’t think of anything, I like all the challenges that club soccer gives me.
9. What advice can you give to players who come into club soccer a little nervous?
I would tell them to not worry, have fun, and do your best. You’ll like the coaches because they are good and make soccer fun.
