Arsenal FC-S GU14 Heating Up This Winter!
Just when most teams are winding down for the winter, the Arsenal FC-S Girls U14 team is heating up! The team has put together impressive back to back appearances in the Finals of two Southern California tournaments.
The team began by playing skilled, energetic soccer at the Arsenal Gunners Cup over Thanksgiving weekend. In the Finals, the team met up with the Arsenal FC-Sanquist team and came up short losing 2-1.
The team followed that up with a dominating performance in the Anaheim Holiday Classic on December 20-21. The team played three impressive games, dominating their opponents with strong defensive play and found their scoring groove. In the finals, they faced a strong defensive Chelsea SC team. Unfortunately the girls lost in PKs.
